I hope all of you can see why I enjoy the Highlands Festival so much. I can be found on the field talking with my brother at the Celtic Armory, helping at the parade, and in general having a lot of fun. The funny thing is, I am the entire reason my family has been working with the festival. I am a Junior at Broomfield High School, and enjoy participating in my high school's theater program, but also enjoy being a photographer and helping around the festival. It has always been the highlight of my year, so I am incredibly grateful to be chosen as the Honored Youth for this year. I have been participating in the Highlands Festival since I was very small.
